What is it?

A BBC iPlayer proxy is a way to watch BBC iPlayer from outside the UK. Anyone physically located in the UK is able to watch BBC iPlayer because they have a UK IP address. Once you leave the country however your IP address changes to a non-UK version and your access to BBC iPlayer is denied.
